Recently, I learned from the Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, according to the recent announcement results, Henan Province will recommend five industry clusters to declare the 2022 national small and medium-sized enterprises featured industry clusters. Xin’an County bearing manufacturing industry cluster is among them.
As a prominent representative of Luoyang SME industry cluster, Xin’an County bearing manufacturing industry cluster started construction around 2009. With bearing manufacturing as the leading industry, the cluster has been seizing the opportunity of windfall industry, and the total output value of the leading industry reached 6.490 billion yuan last year, accounting for 73.47% of the total output value of the cluster. Up to now, the cluster has 4514 valid patents, including 48 valid invention patents, 1 well-known trademark, and 10 provincial and ministerial level science and technology awards such as Henan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award and China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association Award for relevant major scientific and technological achievements.
In addition, I also learned that recently, the “Luoyang City high-end bearing industry cluster development implementation plan” proposed to Xin’an County as the main host, the construction of precision forgings, wind power bearings, offshore equipment bearings and other mega bearing production base.
It is understood that small and medium-sized enterprise characteristic industry cluster is positioned within the county-level district, with small and medium-sized enterprises as the main body, with strong core competitiveness of industrial clusters, is an important part of the regional economy, and is essential to promote the high-quality development of small and medium-sized enterprises. During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, China will identify about 200 national-level SME clusters, guide and support localities to cultivate a number of provincial clusters, further amplify the effect of industrial collaboration, and promote the high-quality development of SMEs.
