ThyssenKrupp inaugurates new production line

The project introduces domestic and foreign high-efficiency, energy-saving, environmentally friendly automated production equipment, including the world's largest and most advanced fully automated circular sawing and forging pick-up dual-use manipulator, can be achieved in the production process of "near-final" rolling ring mill, and multi-functional, high-precision forging presses.

On 25th July, the inauguration of the new production line of ThyssenKrupp Rothschild (Xuzhou) Ring & Forge Co. This is the company’s fourth capital increase since it settled in Xuzhou in 2005, with a total investment of about RMB 500 million and a new production capacity of 150,000 tonnes. After the commissioning of the new project, the total production capacity of XREM seamless ring forgings will be doubled, and the capacity of the production base for seamless ring forgings for large megawatt wind turbines will be further strengthened, providing a continuous boost to the development of China’s green energy industry.

The project introduces domestic and foreign high-efficiency, energy-saving, environmentally friendly automated production equipment, including the world’s largest and most advanced fully automated circular sawing and forging pick-up dual-use manipulator, can achieve the production process of “near-final” rolling ring mill, and multi-functional, high-precision free forging presses. The production line adopts highly airtight structural design, high thermal insulation performance shell heating equipment, equipped with advanced combustion control technology to reduce energy consumption per unit of product, and at the same time can achieve the production of waste heat recycling and reuse. In addition, the new project will promote the construction of MES, SCADA, WMS and other systems to achieve modern intelligent production line information management.
