Recently, Yuchai Marine YC16VC common rail power generation power supporting 3000kW commonly used genset was commissioned successfully, which has become the largest genset high-speed diesel engine in the country at present, and also marks a solid step in the power generation market for Yuchai’s 3000kW high-power model.
Yuchai YC16VC common rail series models are tailor-made for the large power equipment industry. It is based on the VC platform for modular design and development, and the fuel system is upgraded to electronically controlled high-pressure common rail system. The engine is independently developed by Yuchai, and has the characteristics of a high-power off-road special engine with reasonable structure and advanced technology, featuring the advantages of high reliability, strong power, fast response, low fuel consumption, low emission, compactness and aesthetics, etc. The engine is mainly used in high-end commercial centres, airports, large hospitals, high-tech manufacturing industry, communication industry, animal husbandry and breeding, energy industry, and overseas projects.
The first matching of Yuchai Marine YC16VC common rail power generator was successfully completed, and all performance indexes of the engine met the user’s requirements. The unit will be delivered to a mining enterprise in the north, providing strong support for the construction of key national projects.
