Linxi County bearing industry originated in the 1970s, after the start of sprouting, workshop processing, large-scale production, brand manufacturing four stages of development, has now entered a new stage of transformation and upgrading, innovation and breakthrough of high-quality development. The formation of factors gathered, upstream and downstream, production, supply and marketing, small, medium and large overall supporting collaboration of good development model.
Up to now, the county has 1,389 bearing production and sales and supporting enterprises, including 526 production enterprises, 35 production enterprises on the scale, employing 93,000 people, with more than 72,000 sets of various production equipment (sets), products covering bearing steel, ceramic, stainless steel and other materials of more than 4,000 models, with an annual production capacity of 810 million sets, exported to Southeast Asia, Europe and the United States and other more than 90 countries and regions. In 2022, the sales revenue was 20.54 billion yuan, an increase of 14.98% year-on-year, and the paid tax was 237 million yuan, an increase of 13.64% year-on-year. It has been awarded as “China’s Bearing Township”, a pilot county for regional brand building of national industrial clusters, a demonstration base for newly industrialized industries in Hebei Province, a famous county for bearing industry in Hebei Province, a pilot demonstration county for industrial transformation and upgrading in Hebei Province and a pilot county for intelligent cluster construction in Hebei Province.
The next step will focus on the development of high-end precision bearings, industrial service enterprises, etc., and strive to cultivate industrial clusters “leader” enterprises, digital transformation demonstration enterprises, and make every effort to build a strong bearing manufacturing county. By 2023, the revenue will reach more than 25 billion yuan, and by 2027, it will reach more than 50 billion yuan.
