Timken announced on March 18, 2026, that it has acquired the relevant assets and operations of Bijur Delimon International (BDI), headquartered in North Carolina, U.S.A. BDI is a global leader in the design and manufacture of automatic lubrication systems.
“The acquisition of Bijur Delimon aligns with our recent strategic focus on accelerating growth in key vertical markets,” said Lucian Boldea, President and CEO of Timken. “ “Timken has built a leading platform for automated lubrication systems. This platform benefits from strong long-term tailwinds, including a shortage of skilled labor and demographic shifts. The addition of BDI enhances our existing capabilities, deepens our presence in attractive market segments and regions, and creates significant opportunities for synergies, further strengthening our ability to serve customers more comprehensively as ‘One Timken.’”
Since entering the lubrication business in 2013, Timken has grown into a leading supplier of industrial automatic lubrication systems, with products that extend equipment life and reduce total operating costs for equipment owners. BDI has deep customer relationships in key vertical markets such as rail, power generation, and mining. This acquisition will strengthen and expand Timken’s existing strengths in the automatic lubrication systems sector, enabling the company to offer a more comprehensive portfolio of products and services to these key industries.
Founded in 1872, BDI operates manufacturing facilities in the United States, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region. The business is projected to generate sales exceeding $60 million by 2026.
Timken will fund the transaction using its own cash and existing committed credit facilities. Other terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
