The Timken Company was recently named to the 2025 list of the World’s Most Ethical Companies by Ethisphere, the leading organisation for the development and advancement of ethical business standards.
At Timken, we are committed to doing business the right way,’ said Tarak B. Mehta, Timken’s president and chief executive officer. We are committed to practicing ethical business practices, operating transparently, and fostering a culture of integrity. We would like to congratulate our employees for upholding this commitment! And heartfelt congratulations to all the businesses that have been honoured!’
This year, the Ethical Village Association recognised 136 companies from 19 countries and 44 industries. Timken is one of only 10 companies worldwide to be named to the list 14 or more times in a row, and one of only 12 companies in the industrial manufacturing industry.
The Ethical Village Association’s annual selection is based on its independently developed evaluation system. Companies are asked to provide more than 240 specific testimonials covering ethical and compliance management, corporate governance, building an ethical culture, environmental and social responsibility impacts, and practices that drive sustainability along the value chain.
Congratulations to Timken on being named one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies for the 14th time,’ said Erica Salmon Byrne, chief strategy officer and executive chairman of the Ethical Village Association. This honour is a testament to Timken’s unwavering commitment to business integrity. Timken’s ethical business philosophy is not only critical to the long-term growth of the company, but it is also well recognised by employees and stakeholders, who prefer to work with companies that value business ethics.’
